International Women’s day Celebrations

Theme for International Women’s Day 2019 #BalanceForBetter, with the mission of “Think equal, build smart and innovate for change”. Keeping in mind gender equality and women empowerment, the theme focuses on innovative ways that helps in overall growth of women. Especially in the areas of sustainable infrastructure, access to public services and social protection system.

Women of today, play a vital role in all the fields right from banking all the way to IoT (internet of things). Their ideas and experiences equally impact the design and the actual application of innovations. As women are equally gender-responsive, they are most essential in achieving the transformative gains for the society.

The Fair

“Sumadhura Venturers’ Fair” will be held on 16th of March at SKR Convention hall, Kundalahalli, 11am to 6.30pm (11am with stall inauguration and a cultural fest going to start at 2.30pm, ending with prize distribution up to 6.30pm followed by food stalls & refreshments) This event hosts a mini exhibition which comprises of stalls that allows budding women entrepreneurs to showcase their products & various activities such as Fancy dress for the tiny tots and kids, Women health care awareness sessions and cultural competition programme for the Sumadhura Community women along with many more exciting and surprise events planned for the day.

To support this year’s theme #BalanceForBetter, Sumadhura group through SUMADHURA Standing by her…, a Women support initiative provides a platform to celebrate womanhood & encourage women entrepreneurs from various fields of leaders, entrepreneurs and achievers together via Sumadhura Venturers’ Fair. One can showcase their talent and expertise to sell their innovative / unique products. An opportunity is also given to showcase best startup ideas and win best stall award. The winner will be encouraged & supported by Sumadhura digital team in creating a facebook page, a logo for the product, web page URL creation to begin their online business, as a one time service.

The proceeds received from the event registration will be used to support the needy and underprivileged women to help sustain in the entrepreneurial world.
